INDIA is a beautiful ruby red beer with a superbly crisp finish. Generously hopped at multiple stages of the brewing process for expertly balanced layers of bitterness and flavour, INDIA is an extremely moreish choice.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 25 Nov 2018) Dark ruby colour with foamy, beige head. Malty nose with dark fruit, caramel, red berries and a touch of coffee. Malty taste with notes of caramel, red fruit, toffee, orange peel and a gentle citric/earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Cask. Closed Shop, Sheffield. As Stancill India. Quid a half! Ruby tinged, chestnut brown. Thick, nitro like, cream coloured head. Gotta love a sparkler. Nose has spicy, nutty malts. Some leafy hop. Hint of dark fruit. Taste has some vine fruit sweetness. Earthy, leafy bitterness. Light body with a creamy mouthfeel. More leafy bitterness to finish.

On cask at Samuel Fox restaurant, Bradwell. Appearance - deep amber to red with a nice fluffy head. Nose - red fruits and biscuits. Taste - more of the same. Light toffee too - a bit Jammy Dodgers overall. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - with a name like India, I was expecting more citrus hop flavour.

Cask @ Old Bank, Bradford. Ruby-brown with as thin smooth head. There’s some pale malts in both its aroma and taste, fused with a berry-sweetness. Fairly smooth tasting.
