Can at home, New Years Eve 2020. Had at least 30 Deya beers in the last few months. Pours a hazy orange yellow, nice head. Aroma is citrus, lemon and orange, taste is soft, tangerine and peach, light floral and perfume, citrus, tropical fruit in the background. It’s outrageously drinkable and no sign of the 8.0. Another great DIPA from my old college town

500ml can. Massively hoppy, citrusy and sligthly dank with loads of pine, herbal notes, grass, soft pillowy body, some bitterness and orange peel notes in the finish. Really well balanced and tasty, bringing in a lot of new subtle notes from a hop I thought I knew well.

Can from Bottles & Books. Milky golden body with a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon jelly and lemongrass. Flavour of orange and lemon sponge. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Well rounded and a good showcase of the Citra hop at a higher ABV.

10th June 2020
Can. Very hazy yellowish gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy light malts, a reasonable sweetness. A savoury hop skunk kick off here but it doesn't wash over everything else and leaves room for reasonably bright orange and tangerine to make their presence known. Light pine and hop spice bring the rear end to a light and semi dry close. Decent and drinkable but lacking any wow factor for me.

Can from HBB. It pours murky creamy yellow -.hold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet and juicy, nice orangey tropical fruits, mango smoothie, orange creamsicle, orange chewits, passion fruit, some green vibes and pine. The taste is initially slightly dry, then juices right up boiii, peach, orange creamsicle, mango, apricot jam, floury bread, underlying dankness, pine needles, weedy, touch of hop spice with a smooth fruity finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Fruity, piney and dangerously smooth and drinkable. Works very well. Chuggable.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from All Good Beer HD online. Pours murky orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Good hop sauce, rich and dank, with some pureed tropical fruits, oats, biscuits, low bitterness, lemon rind, mango, peach. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with delicate carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish, impressively limited alcohol kick, more pureed tropical fruits, subtle rindy bitterness, ample bready pale malts. It's good in its way, though pretty one-dimensional.

Can at home, from Deya online Juan week from canning date, 28/05/20. Murky orange yellow with a well presented lasting just off white cap. Nose is ripe citric zest, orange pith, raw pineapple, hint of weed, grass, light floral wave. Taste comprises bitter orange ... kind of like a tangy club orange, over ripe melon, pine tickle, papaya, soft malts, light dextrose, hit of play dough, tangerine, trace of hop spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light weedy come danko hop bitterness. Solid DIPA but not on par with the last few IPA’s Deya have turned out ... goes down very easy mind !
