Best Foot Forward is a traditional English bitter with the finest Brookhouse hops. Fresh, delicious, English malted barley brings biscuit and light caramel character to the beer, while locally grown and processed hops bring a moreish dark fruit flavour and a firm bitterness. Fermented with our house yeast (an English ale strain) for light stone fruit esters and a thick mouthfeel. Packaged at lower carbonation to replicate a pint in the pub. Lush

Hazy blond colour with thin head. It's a pleasant yet mild tasting session golden ale. Apple pip dryness and bitterness in the finish.

440ml can delivered from the Real Ale Classroom and drunk at home. Light golden, a bit of haze with a ring of white head and some lacing. Light grainy aroma with malt, dried grass and floral notes. Possibly a bit of white pepper. Sweet taste with a ligjt sulphurous kick. Modest bitterness in the finish. Light body, carbonation is the heavy side of medium. Passable but not very exciting.

Beer school night. British & Irish styles, so first up a Best. Like the fact its canned with lower carb to be more cask-like.
