50cl bottle from Sainsburys, Bracknell. A bright pale amber pour with a loose white head; hoppy aroma with some citrus; sweet and floral in the mouth with a decent amount of fruity hops adding a lot of bitterness; and giving a crisp piney finish. Much, much better than I was expecting, this is a really drinkable lager.

4th Nov 2017. Saturday lunchtime and home alone (although Bertie the dog looks like he wants a walk once I've had this beer). 500ml bottle: BB Oct 2018. Poured into an old half-litre glass from Berlin, a good old Schultheiss one from before the wall came down in 1989. Slight cloudiness to the golden pour, deep white head of uneven foam. Hop front to both the nose and taste, light citrus notes and fairly bitter. Refreshing and crisp, not often I enjoy Lagers unless it's really hot, but this is good even when the temp is low like today.

Bottle at Mac & Wild, Bishopsgate, London. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of hop, floral notes, citrus fruit, grain and light veg. Medium to heavy sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Light to medium body, slight sticky texture, toward average carbonation. Crisp finish, slightly dry.

Bottle at Urban Bar & Grill, Glasgow. Was sat with a customer so could only jot down brief notes: "Sweet. Crisp. Including finish." The customer commented that I obviously enjoyed the aroma. Basically a much more interesting than usual pale lager.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Royal Mile Whiskies. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Nice aroma of crispy biscuits, a little lemon peel, straw. Light sweet flavour with further biscuity pale malts, a little dried cereal grains, more straw, hay, impressions of citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Goof balance in the finish, with further crispy pale malts, biscuits, pale bread, light bitter hay, cereal husks, lemon peel. Excellent lager. Hugely drinkable.

Clear, very pale lager with a frothy white head. Bitter hop scent. Flavour is bitter, hoppy citrus and rather dry. This lemony hop lingers in the mouth after. Nice lager.
