Bad Haircut is a full bodied, hazy, double dry-hopped DIPA with a super clean mouthfeel. Coming in at 7,5% ABV it’s both flavourful and fresh. The flaked barley and pilsner malt allow the piney, tropical, citrusy, notes of Idaho 7 shine through without obstruction. That’s complemented by stone fruit and dark berry characteristics from HBC 431 hops for an intensely aromatic and flavourful DIPA.

We think it’s fair to say that somewhere along the way we’ve all had a bad haircut (especially the time of home-made haircuts)… We certainly have. So we decided to give you a bad haircut that you’ll actually like.

We hope it takes your mind off your bad haircut, at least for a little while.

(Can) Golden amber colour, hazy, with frothy off-white head. Hoppy, fruity nose with notes of grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, herbs, marzipan and white bread. Fruity, hoppy taste with mango, grapefruit, passionfruit, marzipan, white bread and a generous citric/herbal bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh, fruity and juicy. Very nice.

Can, 0.33l. Hazy orange pour, one finger soapy white head. Good retention, lasting head, lots of broken lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nice on the nose, fruity, oranges, peach, pine. Herbal notes in the background, quite refreshing. Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft and chewy, easily drinkable. Fruity sweet taste balanced with moderate bitterness in the background. Aroma of orange, peach, grapefruit. Sweet malty backbone, caramel, candy. Ripe fruits, moderate herbal spiciness. Subtle alcohol notes lingering in the background. Floral. Sticky. Medium lasting finish, fruity, sweet, dry. Tasty.

Can from Deconinck. Hazy ochre, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of ripe nectarine, tangerine, mango, melon, hashish, lime zest, diesel, pineapple. Taste has sweet nectarine, tangerine & melon, some zesty lime & bitter mango; bit spicy, dank & yeasty in the middle along a honey malty line. Floral hoppy finish, spicy-yeasty (diesel note again) with ripe tropical fruits, hop burn & warming gin-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Lots of character here, can of hop fuel, almost literally.
