Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is molasses, soy sauce, and roasted malts. Taste is sweet, but not at all cloying. Kind of burnt molasses aftertaste. Not a great stout, but it is what it is.

Can from Food & Company in Gakugei daigaku. Drank straight from the can. Nice light roasted malt and a touch of lemon in the nose. Body is a little thin and mouthfeel starts off creamy but then spins out of control into watery territory. Palate is well-balanced without being too sweet. Malty character present but a bit too light. Slight hoppy finish with a bit of sour tang in there as well. Dry and bitter finish. Not a bad effort.

Can from Citysuper on the 6X to Repulse Bay. Very roasty aroma - some chocolate and coffee. Taste is rich roasted stout flavor with not much bitterness. Palate is rich but with good amount of carbonation. Very smooth. Better than expected.

Can 350ml (from Japan)
Deep ruby color, small beige head. Aroma is a bit ashy, cardboardish-papery. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty, licorice, caramel, bitterish aftertaste. Even with roastyness gives a bit Baltic Porterish feeling. Taste is ok, but aroma was bland.

330ml bottle from Yamaya Liquors. Pours dark brown, almost black with a beige head. Foam is not too rich but some lacing stays for longer. Aroma has roasted malt, is quite soft. Taste is soft as well, almost like a milk stout / kind of sweet and soft roast. Aftertaste is nice, has a lot of roast, bitter chocolate. Overall quite nice brew, on the sweeter side but quite enjoyable.
