Can sample at a tasting at Naama’s place. Thanks Naama. Black with a small light brown head. Pleasant aroma of roast, chocolate, a bit of coffee, slightly acidic and a light smoky touch. Bittersweet flavor, roast, with a smoky note, chocolate, a bit of coffee and a drier finish with some bitterness. Rounded mouthfeel.

Can from Liquor Mountain. It poured with lots of amber head, lightly carbonated with a malty/caramel aroma reminiscent of Guiness. It had a pleasent mouthfeel.

29.06.2013, 0,33l bottle @ Hakkasan NY:
Nice creamy slightly brown longlasting head. Aroma is mild and well balanced, dark malts, licorice, coffee, burnt caramel, hay. Taste is slightly dry, dark malts, roasted coffee, burnt caramel, licorice, grass, hay, dark sugar, hints of almond essence. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Coming from Japan, this is really good!

33cl can @ ZZT III, courtesy of Martinus. Very dark brown color with a deep dark red glow coming through, small off-white head. Smell malts, dark malts, some coffee, alcohol. Taste malts, alcohol, caramel, lightly roasty. Nothing really wrong with it. Decent carbo and body.

Can. This beer is Creamy and tasty according to the can, when poured it is deep red with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of dutsy hops, straw, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and bread, leading to a dry roasted finish where a weird candy note appears. Thanks Theis for sharing.
