Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, oats, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of oats, roasted malt, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter with a dry roasty coffee, chocolate, charcoal, liquorice dry light floral hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Small, but dense beige head on the pour. Subdued aroma leads into mild sweet stout territory, very creamy, more milk chocolate than dark. Very gentle dark roast grains here, nothing biting or lingering.

Bottle as a gift from Bram, many thanks! Dark brown, beige foam. Light sweet aroma with notes of roasted malts and porridge. Bitter finish. Light hoppy. Ok beer.

Bottle, 12C. Dark brown with a modest tan head that doesn’t last. Aroma of mocha, Indian sweetmeats (cardamon burfi) , blackberries. Smooth, but carbonation is a just a little high to be silky. Roasted and chocolate flavours sit amongst treacle and Indian sweet-like malts. Fairly sweet and doesn’t really dry out much, but the whole thing is lightened by quite high and slightly spicy bitterness. Very nice..Was pleased to find this in Qld, now they decide to come to Vic. Fresher bottle, home glass? - looks fine. Impressive.

(Bottle) Black with a tan head. Subtle aroma with hints of offer and malt. Excellent fine and plentiful carbonation. Smooth taste with balancing dark / burnt toffee notes. Very pleasant.

Dark brown, nice head. Aroma hints at a rich, fudgey balanced brew. Full body, creamy and delicious. Sweet accent, just enough hop. Really nice stout.
