Medium-bodied barley wine, surprisingly smooth, with a herbal aroma. Initially sweet, with a smooth, dry, finish. The addition of dandelion and burdock brings an earthy, herbal note to the beer. Vegan-friendly. Released for Anarchy Brew Co.'s 8th birthday at Friends of Anarchy Fest on 25th January 2020.

Can sourced from Meny, Valby and shared at home (26/10/2020) - hazed golden amber with a white head. Sweet malty with notes of spice and a distinct herbal edge as described, some caramel and some bitterness going on, sticky and kind of cloying, quite a light medium body, really not working for me this.

33 cl can @ Kaldoaivi wilderness area. BBE 11/2024. Rated on 31.07.2020. Aroma has ripe fruits, berries and hops. Flavour has alcohol, gluey tones, resin, fruits and finishes with grapefruity hoppiness. Almost too boozy bw.

Can from Mitra Bunnik, BBE Nov 2024. Clear golden to orange color, short frothy off-white head. Aroma of some mashed apples, dandelion (ok, I read that on the label), some caramel. Quite sweet in taste, slight bitterness, appelmoes again. Anarchy brewing continues to not impress

Can. Bright clear gold beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy semi dry malts, some light creamy sweetness. Tangy light marmalade. Little wet wood brandy barrel on the back end. Smooth light finish shows a little alcohol spice and warmth. Hard to critique this one. Some barleywine aspects here that maybe richer in 3-5 years but this is never going to be sophisticated. Feels like a first step on the journey to something that might be more recognisably barleywine.
