Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma is a bit soapy, floral, toffee and a touch of herbs. Taste is candied sugar with a warm alcoholic kick. Some caramel and floral notes mixed in. The heat of the alcohol lingers. Not bad.

Can. Color: Hazy amber, off-white head. A bit light for a Barley Wine. Aroma: Dried fruit, malty, floral, sweetish. Taste: Dried dark and yellow fruit, caramel, herbal, floral and earthy notes. Recognizing the Dandelions from Fantôme Pissenlit. Bittery, herbal and dry finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Ok overall.

Canned. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is zesty, mild alcohol, glue and fruits. Flavour is vry zesty, some alcohol, floral tones and orange as well. Tasty, and nicely balanced. Felt a bit young still.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie April 23. Misty orangey gold appearance, large off-white head. Sweet orangey aroma. Rosey orange peel and deep sweet malt character, smooth clean palate with a nice drinkability. Decent.

Clearish copper gold with a decent beige head. Dusty and slightly spiced yellow raisin. Bready, raisin, lots of baking spices and a bit of paper. Very odd, and in a not so good way.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 11/07/21. Amber pour with a well formed off white covering. Nose is rather thin for a double digit ABV number comprising light herb, crisp malts, biscuit, grains. Taste comprises toffee, light booze, herb, biscuit, caramel, light perfume. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Not setting my world on fire ... especially aroma wise ... but sips Ok.

18/7/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours clear dark golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is herbal, floral, toffee, grain, biscuit, warming spicy alcohol notes. Medium plus sweetness with an earthy bitterness and some sour alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, gentle fizz. Quite harsh alcohol burn to finish. A style (and brewery) I normally very much enjoy, but not particularly this one.
