Leicht pfeffriger Nachtrunk. - Füllig malziges, rundes Dunkles mit nicht ganz stimmiger fruchtiger Note, etwas unrund bzw. hart. (23.10.2021.)

Bottle at hotel tasting Bad Staffelstein. Cola coloured clear colour lasting tan head. Brown malty aroma. Simple malty beer but competent enough slight white pepper finish ok temp and condition.

Mildly malty mouth with a spritzy lemonaid mouthfeel. A dry malty finish has some odd, but pleasant aftertones.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at St. Urho’s Pub, Helsinki) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, fresh malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, fresh malts, caramell, herbalness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Nice solid dunkel with good crispness from the hops. Unfortunately, the herbal flavour is not my favourite.

Bottle, thanks Pivnizub! Dark red amber, golden head. Nutty notes in the foreground after a slightly grassy and toasted aroma. Berries and apples, caramel finish. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Slight burned sugar retronasal.

Bottle: Dark copper coloured, clear, loose ’n lacy off-white head; caramelly, nutty and dark-malty nose with a light hoppy touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; increasing herbal hoppiness and coffee notes in the sweet-bitter finish. Well crafted Dunkel.....

(bottle) Clear, brown colour with a big, off-white foamy head. Sweet and distinctively nutty toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel and a shy tinge of hops. Light-bitter, slightly burnt flavour, light to medium bodied with a pleasant, well-matured carbonation. Toast-malty, (wal-)nutty taste with notes of caramel; slightly sweet and bitter finish, again with nutty accents. Decent Dunkel (07.VI.09).
