On tap at Namtons house bar. Thick creamy white head. Very hazy golden pour. Lovely bitterness. Nice.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/9/2017. Pours slightly hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Fairly aggressive, but not overwhelming. Very dank/vibrant hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Really classic tasting IPA. Feels like Columbus, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops. A very enjoyable offering.

12oz can. Filtered orange-copper body. A decent, respectable IPA....but I have no idea why I need to see this 2000 miles from where it was brewed. Foamy white head. Drinks more like a Pale Ale to me, albeit a good one. The hops are mellow, with a hint of modernity. Solid balance. OK, but too mundane to seek out again.

12 ox can. Pours a copper/amber with moderate head. Aromas of candied orange, tropical fruit, pine and toffee, with a little toasted malts. Flavors of same with emphasis on pine and toffee. Simple but great IPA for the ABV.

Fairly uninspired IPA from Ballast Point, mixing weak, bready malts with a mild citrus undercurrent and a nice stack o' pinecones on the back end. Appreciably floral and bitter, but the hops never develop much depth, and the malts are bland and noncommittal. Dry finish is pine and nothing but. Pours a clear gold with a brief white head and tons of lacing. Restrained pine and grapefruit on the nose. Perky texture is good, but does nothing to help the pint stand out. Eh.

3 week old can > IPA glass A: Poured a 2" tall thick frothy head atop a crystal clear bubbly pale orange/gold body. Good retention and thick lacing. S: Muted dry scent of mainly caramel and orange. T: Bitter and fruity hops showcasing lots of orange; pulp, pith and zest with a faint note of light rye toast or baguette. M: Lowish carbonation level and light to medium weight, finishing pretty clean with just a bit of pithy resin. O: Very nice lighter IPA with nothing offending nor particularly outstanding. However at $10/6, at least it's not laughably overpriced as BP beers often are. Worth a try at least.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a light gold-copper color with a 2 fingers of foam. Pithy grapefruit, caramel and citrus dominate the nose. Some pine needles as well. Toasted caramel, pine resin and faint citrus in the background on the palate. More body then I usually like in my west coast stuff. Kinda heavy to be honest.
