Tap at Second Draft after Sunday boat trip. Hazy yellow gold pour with fine white head. Aroma is slightly spicy herby take on normal saison profile - lemongrass is evident. Taste is straightforward saison with zesty lemongrass and green herb. Honey malt, banana and lemongrass, and tingly finish. Not bad at all.

A golden saison with a very thin white head. In aroma, very sweet, Casi cloying, mix of banana esters, cloves, light creamy notes, OK. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light banana esters, light cloves, light mineral notes, no heat or pepper.. Ok. On tap at Tap House, Hoi An.

On tap at Pasteur Street, pours an opaque dark golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma smells like a proper farmhouse ale, with light pepper, saison yeast, and a touch of lemongrass. Flavour brings out lots of lemongrass, farmhouse yeast with proper fermentation, no fruity esters or cloying sweetness, and some light herbal notes. Very nicely constructed. Impressive.

Bottle at home. Appearance is golden without head. Aroma is rich and sweet, syrupy, Belgian. Rather simple. Flavour is similar. Definitely not a saison but a Belgian golden ale. Not spectacular, sweet and syrupy.

Pour at Shelton Brothers. Saison yeast nose with good esters. Clean, with some good wheat flavors on the palate. Some sweetness, but a dry finish. Decent saison.

Tap at the Ho Chi Minh brewpub. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light lemongrass, ginger spice. The flavour is light grainy mineral with a smooth light hop, spicy, herbal palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
