Has some haze. Thin head. Has bitterness but hops aren’t super fresh. That cardboard element…it’s their own branded restaurant at YUL so not really able to give them a pass on freshness. Ok malt, hint of biscuit.

My first Canadian IPA, I believe. 473 ml can found earlier today at a convenience store in Montreal. I pour inside of a provided room glass that is tinted but in any case see a dark gold liquid completed by a billowy head of almost white foam. It appears there will be some lacing. The scent is lightly hoppy, wood and something sweet. The taste is a step up. Significant hops, cedar, grain, malt, biscuit and touches of honey and toffee. A little dank and nicely bitter. A decent IPA.

Tap @ the brewpub, Quebec. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bitter hops, fruits, flowers, malt and has a nice bitter finish.

Clear pale gold with a decent white head. Sweet with some artificial fruity notes. Sticky sweet malts and citrus. Sweet and malty.

Testée à l'aéroport de Montréal chez Archibald. Robe blonde dorée et transparente. En bouche, une bière fraîche et parfumée bien dans la tradition des west coast IPA.

On tap at Archibald - Montreal Airport, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Nose brings out piney hops, a little citrus, and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite pronounced on the piney hops, with citrus and dry biscuity mat. Solid old school, west coast IPA here. Nothing special, just well-made. Not bad

Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry citrusy hoppy notes is OK. Taste is also a mix of dry citrusy notes with light bitterness, some residual sugar notes with light cereal notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but hops don’t shine as much as I would expect for the style.

Much, much better than the Ciboire. For one, it's an IPA, and well executed at the very least. Pours golden with ok head and good lacing. Grapefruit and pine. Light bitter finish. Fairly nice stuff. Tap at airport brewpub location.

This West Coast IPA pours a slight hazy, light-golden, with a warm cap, good retention and nice lacing. Herbal and grassy with hints of citrus, sugars, pines. The taste is malty with some nice bitterness in the finish, which is not super long. Some grain, some caramel notes with some light tropical fruits. Not a bad brew, but nothing too special.
