Another light beer! w00t! Pours with a nice big foamy white head and a piss-coloured bright yellow body. The aroma is corn and sweet grain. Flavour is watery cardboard with a vague wet bread finish. I was hoping Stella Artois might make a decent light beer, but alas, no dice.

330ml bottle. Pours pale gold with a small, non-lasting head. Aroma is grassy and doughy. Not much to taste, just some pale malt. Watery finish.

(Draught at Bridge Bar, London Heathrow terminal 3, 8 Aug 2010) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of grain, bread and slight hints of hay. Malty taste with grain, bread, maize and hay. Hardly detectable hints of hops. Light body, fairly dry. Taste is more or less like the original Stella, just a little less of everything (sic!). Drinkable, but boring and unnecessary.

Draught@The Darthmouth Arms. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, bready, herbal and mildly earthy as well. Flavour is being quite much the same. The fruityness in this one makes it quite refreshing.

44 cL can - triple filtered - funny name - thrice avoiding what would come from Belgium..? I would rather go with a triple fermentation. Pours clear and pale yellow with a huge white head, shirt lived head. Aroma is mild metallic and light cornish. Flat cornish and light roasted malty flavoured. Reminds me a bit about the Flensburger 4 and Becks Vier. Kicking a beer into place for a 4% alcohol mark - why?

500ml can. Typical lager look, pale straw with a thin white head that rapidly disappears leaving a flat looking drink despite the remaining carbonation; sweet corn syrup aroma; slightly sour, sweet corn syrup flavour, with nothing in the way of a finish. Not good.

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color lager with small bubbly pure white head with minimal retention. Loads of sweet adjunct are noticeable and dominating the aroma. Taste is also dominated by loads of sweet adjunct. While the regular SA is no favorite of mine it is at least more authentic the this adjunct juice.
