As Williams Bros Warehouse Pale Ale. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head and a few bubbles. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, malt, yeasty, light toffee, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can. Clear golden body with with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and grassy hops. Flavour of grass and chalky malt. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. A fairly nondescript pale ale. Simple and drinks well.

330ml can. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is buttery straw and lemon. Taste has straw, lemon, some grass and citrus notes.

Can from local Aldi β as Warehouse Pale Ale. Has a faint sweet aroma, peach or pineapple. Pours a golden yellow with a small transient white head, and fairly high carbonation. Juicy tropical fruits briefly in the mouth before more traditional hops kick in. The juiciness is still there in the finish, along with dry bitterness. Pleasant and drinkable, but doesnβt quite live up to its initial promise.

[33cl can from Aldi, Bracknell as Warehouse Pale Ale.] An amber pour with a loose white head; peachy aroma; juicy peach taste with a lactic body, and a tingling tropical bitterness; but then a weaker finish with diminishing hops. Not bad.

Can from Aldi Supermarket, Milnrow. Golden-blonde with a thick frothy-head. A higher bitterness pale with a tropical fruity blast in its aftertaste.

330ml can; No Hacienda in the name on my can, and brewed by Williams Bros, Alloa. BBE Feb 2022. Poured into an old 'Chimay' goblet at home on 14th Nov 2020, must have bought it in my local Aldi! Clean and bright light golden body, fast fading white head, a bit of lacing as the head departed. Mild citrus aroma and taste, fairly fizzy feel to the brew, slight sweetness mid-sip before a bitter finish.

330ml can, any mention of the Hacienda is now long gone. Clear gold, small white head, very good lacing and retention. Aroma of lemon citrus, herbs and a floral peach note; not bad at all. Taste is malts, peach, a hint of apricot, semi-sweet, mild bitterness and a touch of citrus but less than I was expecting from the aroma. Good though. Body is light to moderate, fairly smooth, carbonation is moderate; fine Overall for 99p this is a very good pale ale. I've been struggling to find any decent beers and ciders from Aldi and suddenly I find 3 good ones in a row.
