50cl bottle pours a mostly clear garnet amber with some spitty off white head. Nose is nice, malt and caramel and booze. Woodsy herbs. Booze. Flavors same. A little ketchup. Sounds bad buts there's umami. Caramel. A little metal. Full bodied. Boozy, sticky finish.

Bottled 4/21/2022, #472/900, thanks TJ. Drunk 8/4/24. Clear dark amber. Little head. Smells less sweet than most of their non-BA strong beers. Very fruity with caramel and honey tones. No booze. Nutty with caramel and such. Medium bodied, on the sweeter side though with dome attempt at acidity to balance. Some salinity, even. No booze.

Flaska från Barreled Souls, 2022. Rostbrun med smutsvit krona. Fruktigt, torkad frukt, aprikos, sötade äpplen, lite rostad socker, honung. Lite kåda, granskott, apelsinskal. Inte alltför aggressiv beska. Gott.

Bottle (4/19/21) pour shared with TJ and Chris. It's a clear amber/burgundy with light sparkle, nice viscosity, thin ring of beige head and no lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, toffee, dark fruit, brown sugar, fig, mild bitter. Taste follows aroma but fruit is more front and center and a bit of tart apple over caramel and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, excellent strength and nice complexity. Very nice.

500 ml bottle. 2020 vintage. Numbered 98 / 720. Aroma is mild but the flavor is good. Raisin, fig, toffee, and a slight sugary finish. Pretty well balanced. Nice for a fresh barley wine.
