Keg at Inverurie Brew Festival. It pours clear clear pale apple green with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, huge elderflower, floral, juicy, icing sugar and gooseberry crumble. The taste is crispy, snappy, juicy, tangy, crunchy green apple, sweet - sour, plenty of elderflower, floral, candy and next to o buzz with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Simple and chuggable.

Aus der Flasche im 2023-06 getrunken. Dieses goldene Cider mit Holunder kommt mit einer feinen Süße daher, die die Apfelsäure sehr gut ausbalanciert. Neben dem Apfelaroma paßt die Holunderblüte sehr gut. Im Vergleich zum Real Elderflower hat diese Version aus der Flasche eine schöne erfrischende Kohlensäure, wo der Real Elderflower etwas tot im Glas liegt.

50cl bottle as “Thistly Cross Elderflower” from Auchan Kirchberg in Luxembourg. Head is thin, white, very quick gone. Colour is pale gold, clear. Aroma mostly elderflower, apples, bit citrus. Taste is apples, elderflower, bit herbal, citrus, medium carbonation, very nice, enjoyed.

April 2018: Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Aberdeen Country Fair. ABV is 4%. Pale golden colour. Aroma of elderflowers and apples. Sweet and fresh flavour of elderflowers and apples. Score: 3.1 . Rerate today, new label. Purchased at Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger.

Can from Appalachian. Goblet @home. Soapy, leggy, but quickly fading head. Clear, shiny, rich, gold body. Stuffy, almost skunky, purple drank & odd wildflower scent. Taste is fortune cookie sweetness, a little random ugly, syrupy fruit melody, gum, concord grape. Desperately needs some bitterness. Super syrupy, very light acidity(but it is there). Low abv, low overall carbonation. No thanks.

Bottle. Unclear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is elderflower, syrupy, white sugar, sweet. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel, sirupy sweet. Extremely sweet, not for me.
