(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 12 June 2025) Pale golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grass, citrus, floral hops and wheat crackers. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, lemon peel, grass and a balanced citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, dry. Refreshing and highly drinkable. Quite nice.

Old rating from 2015 - 500ml bottle, pours golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of lemon, peach, stone fruit, grass, biscuit & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish

Very clear and very light colored: hence the name I guess. Head completely disappeared: looks more like a soft drink... Decent nose: floral, Turkish delight, honey. Good initial flavour but falls off precipitously. Honey, malty, floral. At the end watery. Strange dry at the end: almost an oaky taste. Thirst quenching but a bit disappointing.

Tap. Golden, clear, white head. Aroma: sweet, floral-earthy hops, light fruitiness. Malty taste, candy, a little apple, biscuit, light hop bitterness, light beer for food.

Cask at The Golden Cross, Coventry. Clear gold with small white head. Quite a sweet bitter with caramel, bread, flora and some citric notes running through. Light to medium bodied, semi-drying. Could do with more bitterness but quite a refreshing summer cask option.

Cask at Bear & Billet, Chester. Pours pale straw with a medium sized almost white head and good lacing. Floral hops to the fore in the aroms, plus traces of stone fruit. In the mouth it is sweet and quite juicy, but with some underlying bitterness that gradually increases. Hints of citrus and bread rolls but it’s mainly floral hops which ctach the taste buds. It’s reasonable.

500ml bottle [as Lightfoot Blonde Ale]. Clear, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral hoppy and slightly strawy, minimally fruity aroma, a touch of peach. Taste is moderately bitter, floral hoppy and sweet-ish, minimally sugary, fruity pale malty, weak hints of peach, minimally mineral finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light, simple, fairly refreshing - unspectacular.
