Bottle. Poured a pitch black color, with a tan head. Aroma was big bakers chocolate. Roasted, coffee, chocolate, bourbon. Flavor was similar, super smooth. Roasted coffee, chocolate, some woody notes. At a DCBeer share.

Taster at Liquor Express. Pours black, with a fleeting, bubbly head. The nose is coconut, Demerara rum, heavy oak, baking chocolate, and almonds. Sweet, malty and quite boozy. Heavy body, with a syrupy, malty palate. Decadent and delicious.

50 cl bottle (2019) @ FF tasting. Rated on 13.03.2021. Aroma has rye, licorice and mild odd chlorine tones. Flavour has liquor, sweet ryes malt, alcohol and licorice. Also saltiness. Too stuffy and boozy for my taste; drinkability is not that great. Rated on 2021-03-13.

Been a long while since I've had Bookers, not sure I can reminisce tasting notes but this was decently barrel forward, slight roast, chocolate hints with tobacco. - Sep 2020. Second bottle not any better. Lacking barrel notes and it's mostly thin.

0,5l bottle at Sanders shared by me. Vintage . black color, small coffee colored head. smells of soy sauce, molasses, nutty, marzipan, nice smell, rather oxidized and sweet, not much barrel. full body, light carbonation. tastes tobacco, sweetness, some oxidation, some bourbon, sweet vanilla, some figs, light soy sauce. finishes medium sweet with notes of fips, bourbon vanilla and some soy sauce. very good stuff, but rather sweet and oxidized, expected more, but still very nice.

First time I've seen Eclipse at a Melbourne shop and there were several variants, so I chose this one because it reminded me of the vegan activist chap from uni in the 80s who changed his name to BKR in solidarity with the chickens. Almost black with a dense tan head that settles to a cm. Aroma of whiskey, roast, pralines, a slight earthiness I didn't love. Some dark berries. A little overt booze. 8- Creamy texture. Sweet. Much boozier than suggested by the aroma. Mocha, vanilla, pralines. Finish combines booze, bitterness and oak.
