Courtesy of Tony @ OTH. Pours amber, white head. Aroma is grainy and light malts. Taste, leaves a metalic aftertaste, hoppy with soem citrus notes, sweet that reminds me of a pils.

Cask-conditioned at The Wenlock, 1/8/08. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Fruity malt and nuts aroma. Sweet flavour with plenty of caramel, some grassy hops and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Strong ale? Really? I thought it was a simple bitter. A little cardboard in the aroma. Light malt flavor. Smooth palate, very sessionable, if maybe an old bottle. Any hops that were there have mellowed.

Bottle. I’m not sure why this qualifies as \"witches brew\" but what the heck. Pours a nice copper/amber color with almost no head to speak of. Aromas are sweet bread and malt. Flavor is more of the same, but also has a bit of a grassy edge to it as well as a soapy texture. Nice and refreshing while being sweet and full.

bottle - Pours copper with a one finger head and a mild malt aroma. It has a light caramel malt flavor that’s well balanced with hops. The body is a little too thin, in my opinion, though it’s still a fairly good, quaffable session brew. However, at over five bucks a bottle at the local store, I’ll probably pass on additional bottles. I’m a little puzzled that 5.1% abv is classified as an "english strong ale", but okay...

Bottled. Deep golden, rich head. Aroma of honey and hay. Sweet and boldly malty with medium body and resiny hops. Dusty resiny bitter finish. Unrefined, but good.

Pour is a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is of caramel malts and a bit metalic. Flavor is again caramel malts with a bit of dark fruits thrown in there along with a nutty aftertaste. Yea its pretty decent.
