Fra fat på White Hart, London 15 Okt 17. Gyldengul. Kritthvitt filmskum. Ferskenaroma. Smaken tørket aprikos. Blir veldig tørr etter hvert. Ga mersmak.

Handpull cask at the Alexandra Arms, Cambridge. Deep honeyed gold with a light off-white head. Clear. Fresh white grape juice, soft citrus and a touch of pine in the aroma. Fresh bitter taste, very hoppy and long-lasting on the front of the tongue. Long bitter finish with resinous notes and Chardonnay on the aftertaste. Medium body, with a slick mouthfeel. An above average cask ale with enough hops to keep you going!

Bottle. Just hazy gold with a very large white head. Aroma of ruby grapefruit, honeydew, crackers, hay. Far too fizzy. Light bodied. There is some crackery and hayish malt there but it’s overmatched by the citrus (and a little pine) and the fair high bitterness. A bit parching and a bit crude. All the focus on the hops and they aren’t all that interesting. OK.
