Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus and Niels. Clear dark amber color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, a hint of hops, but also a touch of something weird and slightly earthy. Decently drinkable, but nothing special.

650ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish, brown colour with small to average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige-ochre head. Sweet-ish malty aroma, notes of toffee, caramel, a touch of marzipan. Taste is minimally sweet malty, at the same time moderately dry malty, hints of toffee, caramel, old nougat, very cautious hints of red berries. Slightly fusty.

Hazy red - amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light with a mild minerally crispness. Smooth malts, little dry cream, touches of dark toffee and molasses. Very mild dried fruits before the semi dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Tasty enough malt dominant number.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish amber with a small tan head and nice lacing. Aroma is molasses, caramel, light spices. Aroma is about the same, medium sweet, minimal bitterness, some zesty astringence. Medium body. Not bad, but not a lot going on

Tap and bottle. Pours with a hazed brown body with hardly any head retention. The fleeting image of a head was khaki colored...I think. Aroma of brown sugar, nuts, cinnabun, tobacco, molasses, soil. Very sweet smelling. Flavor is sour milk, nuts, cinnamon, earth, vomit, and showing obvious signs of infection. From the tap the smell was not as good but the flavors were only marginally better. Too much tannic extraction. Licorice, vegital. Currants. Ash. Watery. Drain pour.

Bomber from Bevmo, Salinas Nose of toffee, caramel, and mustiness (is that why they call it an Old Ale?) Cherry copper with a medium beige head. Flavor is raisins, light bitterness, and a hint of licorice.
