Similar limited edition cider to Downfall but matured in red wine oak casks and taking on some of the colour and character of red wine and oak.

7/5/2022. Draught sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear dark pink with minimal head. Aroma of red grape, wood, slightly dusty. Quite heavy sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, oily and watery, soft to flat carbonation. Dry tannic finish. Not bad.

Draught at Newcastle Beer & Cider Festival 09Apr2022. Reddish amber colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of red wine notes, grape. Taste is tart, fruity, red wine, apple, syrupy, grapey hints, barrel notes and with some acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Draught at the Hopbine, Cambridge. Gorgeous whisky-golden colour. Aroma is bourbon-barrel wood, rum, oak, you don’t get an apple until the taste and then the taste... scrumpy sour with a fruit tart sweetness and a woody dry finish. Best cider I’ve had in a while.
