440ml can: BBD June 15. Drank in my garden on 11th Aug 14. Part of a four pack from my local Aldi store. I actually thought this was OK, looks fine: usual golden, clean and clear Pilsner/Lager appearance, good white head. I thought it had a slightly sweet and corn smell, this carried on into the taste which along with it’s fairly smooth body feel came across as a slick brew. There is a mild bitterness but this is towards the sweeter end of the style and good value for the money.

Can. Clear golden with a large short head. Aroma is grainy malt, flavour is the same. OK lager.

Standard lager with a pale yellow complexion and no head. Sweet aroma and character.

440ml can with 4.8% ABV. Straw with a billowing white head that dissipates quickly; cereal aroma; grassy, almost herbal, flavour with some sweet malts; and a dry herbal finish, with strong alcohol, despite the relatively low ABV. Certainly not bland.
