A Baltic Porter brewed with seven different malts and fermented with Pilsner yeast, then we had some fun, hope you enjoy our clean crisp Hop-Less beer, please feel free to ignore the huge amounts of American Simcoe and Citra that slipped in.

Keg at ye olde Coffee House - London. Pours deep brown with a lasting, creamy mocha head. The nose holds a lick of tangy dark malts, dark berries, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with baking cocoa, moderate roast, tar, charred wood, tangy ripe dark berries, leather and earth. Meridian to full bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with notes of lemon peel, burnt wood, old leather, more earthy bitterness, well toasted malts, bittersweet baking cocoa. So so overall.

Keg at the OCH, 05/05/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is rich roast, treacle toffee, earthy hops, blackcurrant jam, light pine tickle. Taste comprises light charr, burnt toffee, touch of smoke, toasted brown sugar, red berry compote, cocoa powder. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with sweet licks tempered by hop bitterness. Solid.

Keg at King William IV. It pours jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roast, bitter - sweet, dried fruits, berry, plum, date, blackcurrant jam and salted liquorice. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, dark fruits, plum, prune, salted caramel, Dandelion & Burdock, charred wood, light acidity and citrus peel with a dry finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Rich and good dark fruits/berry character. Pretty tasty.
