Chelmsford Beer Festival. KeyKeg. 6.5% version. Assuming it’s this one. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, mild minerally crispness. Nice KeyKeg condition! Light and sweetish malts. Mild banana esters. Good citric orange and lemon. Touch of mango. Light crisp finish. Nice.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Caps n Taps. Pours unclear orange-gold with a dense, billowing off-white head. The nose holds lightly caramelised sugars, some wheat bread, mellow saison yeast expression. Medium sweet flavour with some oily hop character, orange, pine, more bready character, wheat bread. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and massaging texture. Finishes with a little alcohol warmth, dry wheat flakes, orange peel, a little citric twang, faint melon. Enjoyable stuff.

Bottle in tap room at We Brought Beer, CJ. 19/11/16. Feint hazy aroma. Very hazy amber. Good white head. Light bitter - juicy. Light bodied, but a soft mouthfeel. Restrained dryness in finish. Was in a hurry but not one to chug down.

Glad they re-brewed it again. Lots of Nelson Sauvin. Papaya fruits. Stone fruits. Pomegranate on aroma. #SXBottleShare
