(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 28 Nov 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grass, citrus, biscuits, cereal and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, grass, biscuits and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, with a good citric hop presence. Nice one.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden colour a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, light, citrus fruit, light woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Light haze on this gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, not that sweet. Bitter orange peel hops with a light floralness. Finishes light and fairly dry. It’s alright but a bit thin and dry and I really wanted more from the US hops.

Upfront bitterness. Easy-drinking but a bit one-dimensional.
