A golden lager with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, light grainy malt adjunct, probably rice, light skunky character. In mouth, South Asian crap, light adjunct malt with light oxidized hops, light mineral notes, blah! Can from corner store close to my hotel, for 12000 dongs.

Okay. 8/8/9/8/9/9

Bottle at Le Pub, Hanoi. The aroma is cardboard malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light hoppy bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Served cool and it hit the mark in Asia but it’s no more than a simple lager with little flavour.

Can from a shop in the old quarter it is a clear gold with a thick white head. The nose is sugary sweet grains - kind of gross and cloying. The taste is sweet grainy hay and sugar with a very mild biscuit & hop character. Better than the nose. Meh ok for a macro I guess.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks mom & dad for this bottle! Clear yellow. Corny aroma with some hay. Sweetish flavor, grainy, corny, with a bitterish finish. Light-bodied.
