Mini 25cl can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy orangey - blonde with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, bready malt, toasty grains, cereal, baked goods, stone fruits, dried apricot and green onions. The taste is firmly dry, hearty bread, farmhouse loaf, cereal, biscuit, toasty grains, oats, woody, some bitterness and that green veg/onion vibe with a drying finale. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. An interesting offering, but that oniony vibe is a bit odd.

1 l can shared at home. Pours hazy, deep golden with thick white head. Bready malty notes in aroma, followed by sweetish taste with the same notes, and only some slight bitterness. As a kellerbier, it should be more bitter IMO. Drinkable, tho.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si percepiscono indizi di miele, frutta secca, pane tostato, un accenno di resinoso quasi balsamico, erba e agrumi.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness, online. Murky orange-amber with small off white head. Looks decent. Aroma is very bready with some yeastiness and grass. Pretty standard. Taste is bready with an undefined fruity yeastiness to it. Hops not doing much in flavour but there is a decent level of bitterness to this and a peppery tingle of spice in the finish. Not a bad beer but a bit one-dimensional and boring.
