Cask @ Pilcrow, Manchester. Dark clear golden with a creamy head. It’s bitter-sweet with a fair hop-malt balance to it and a gentle tropical fruitiness.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, some fruit, light metallic hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with smooth rich, light fruit, dry, slightly vinous, light pepper spice, palate and a moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Quite unusual and like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. This is a great session beer that I would be more than happy to drink all night long.

By gravicask at Chelmsford & Mid Essex Winter Beer Festival. Bubbly, beige head over a near-clear amber body. Some dotted spots on the glass. Nose is plums and apricot. Well balanced malt-fruity flavours of dried fruits and almond. Prolonged ending. Pretty nice (16.02.2017).

Bottle at home picked up from Beer Hawk. A big lively pour, dark orange / light amber coloured pour with a huge rocky light beige head. Mostly clear. Aroma is nice blend of bready grains, toasted grains, biscuit, slightly jammy berry, some melon and pine. Palate is very lively, abrasive carbonation, semi-sweet, slightly grainy. Flavour is composed of toasted bready grains, orange peel, hints of pine. Nicely layered hops. Assertive smooth citrus bitterness. Over carbonated but still very enjoyable..
