Bottle at home in London - picked up at BottleDog London. Pours clear, honey-gold with a billowing off-white cream head. Lightly toasted bread in the aroma, some biscuits, orange peel, pine needles. Light sweet flavor, a little bit muddled, with grainy malts, slight piney bitterness, rindy citrus, minerals. Light bodied with average carbonation and massaging texture. Finishes with faint resin, more subtle toasted malts, rind, some pithy grapefruit, orange peel. There’s not a whole lot to it, but it drinks pretty easily, so that’s nice.

Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, a little cream and a touch of unsweet toffee. Hops bring a decent hop skunk and pine. Mild hop spice and a spot of ripe orange in to marmalade. Smooth finish. Well joined up and tasty.

Cask at Mr Foleys Leeds, Friday 13th November 2015. Reddy amber in colour with a nice creamy off-white head. Nice steady hoppy nose. not too pushy, in fact the Autumnal tag works quite well, a touch woody, Loz suggests a bit peachy/apricoty. It’s a good, it’s uncomplicated, fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Bouteille 33cl, gyle#67/68.

Gravity dispense at the Mulberry Tree, Twickenham, 06/11/15. Very lightly hazed reddish amber with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is a little thin, caramel, straw, earthy. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, red berry fruit shreds, straw, light bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a bitter linger. Ok.

Brown with lasting head. Strong hop aroma. Flavour is pleasant and punchy but it is let down slightly by being very thin and gassy.
