Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 16th November 2018. Hazy unfined gold with shallow white foam and partial lacing. Intense bitter hops in aroma. Exquisite citrus and grassy bitterness in-mouth, and an intense bitter finish. A fair amount of body for the strength and an engaging texture. A splendid ale.

Gravity cask from Broood, Leicester. Straw, very hazy. Grapefruit and more grapefruit in the aroma, with some lemon drops and biscuit notes thrown in for good measure. Bitter taste with some creamy sweetness mid-sip. Doesn’t stay for long though and the beer finishes bitter as you like with bucketloads of hard citrus in the aftertaste. So much character for the ABV.

Neeeds a few to cut through the yeadt as it is fresh on. Mangos and clementines. Nice late-hopping. One of the best session ipa's.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2016. Golden ale, hopped, but weak tasting, which does affect its flavour.
