Skipton Beer Festival 2017. Blonde, slightly sour ale, but mainly a bitterness and not too fruity.

Cask-conditioned at the Volunteer Tavern, Bristol 15/4/2017. Deep golden in colour, with a slight haze, and small, white, head. Plenty of orange character, both in terms of fruitiness and floral hops, with a yeasty edge, crisp malts and a hint of green herb, leading to a dryish finish. Pleasant.

Keg at mad Squirrel Berkhampstead. A clear golden orange coloured pour with frothy white head. Aroma is saison yeast, damp hay, orange rind, lime citrus. Flavour is composed of simple base grains, citrus, orange rind, damp hay, wit and saison yeast. Palate is crisp, frothy carbonation, easy going. Spicy citrus hop.

12th April 2017
Hazy yellow - gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent carbonation. Fluffy sweetish malts. Some typical saison herb. Decent orange - tangerine, some peel of both, quite punchy. Some bubblegum esters. Light semi dry finish. Nicely floral - fruity. Naff name though ....

Keg at Beer and Burger, Willesden Green, London, Friday 7th April 2017 Hazy gold with a white filmy head. An aroma of stale urine does little to sell this beer but this does fade. Taste is actually quite good, certainly tastes like a saison a touch of spice, fruity (but not necessarily blood orange) a dry finish, refreshing beer. A5 A3 T8 P3 Ov13 3.3
