Key keg at the Pig's ear beer festival 05/12/2017. A hazed yellow golden coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is doughy wheat grains, orange rind, pithy lemon, tangy. Flavour is composed of pez sweet, orange rind, midget gems, doughy wheat. Palate is pithy, zesty, mellow carboantion. Not bad.

Keg at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a lasting, white cream topping. Great snout, all grapefruit and tangerine. Lightly sweet, quite dry and pithy, with some chalky yeast, grapefruit, lemon peel, white grape. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry and pithy in the finish as well, good and dry, just a touch juicy. Overall, nice beer.

Pigs Ear. KeyKeg. Cloudy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light dry palate, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts. Good grapefruit, minty. Spicy thin orange. Trace of lemon on the crisp finish. Fruity and crisp but thin and dry.

Cask at Pig's Ear 2017. It pours hazy / cloudy yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, toasty, candied citrus peel, apricot and some bread. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, apricot, peach, nectarine, zesty citrus, pine and some brioche malt base with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Works pretty well. Decent APA.

[ As Alpha State Simcoe Centennial ].
ABV: 5.5%. Hazy - murky medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, citrus, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20171205]

Keg at Pig's Ear '17,day one, 05/12/17. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white head. Nose is mango flesh, pine needle, orange pith, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises sharp citric bite, orange pith, toasted bread, grapefruit zest, grassy bite, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with semi aggressive hop bitterness. Nice vibrant APA.
