Bottle. Störtebeker Scotch-Ale. Color: Clear amber, almost no head. Taste: Above medium sweet malty, with clearly present notes of peat and smoke. Notes of caramel. Pretty dry mouthfeel towards and at the finish. Bit sticky palate. Alcohol is well hidden. First gulps are pretty nice, but after some more this beer gets a bit annoying.

Clear orange appearance with quick fading head. Aroma has malt sweetness and a touch of leather and peat. Flavour is similar but not overpowering. Has a nice syrupy sweetness too. Fairly light bodied and the alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Dark copper/orange. Decent head. Aroma of sweet barley, malts and a little bit of peat. Taste is sweetish, malty, earthy, honey and caramell. Some peat. Medium to strong carbonation. The former name "Whisky Bier" was a good fit though as I really fancy a righteous Scotch right now. Unfortunately way too sweet for my liking. Would have been happy with a smaller bottle.

50cl bottle from Getranke - Tempel. Thin ring white head. hazy light amber pour. Quite peaty. I was expecting this to be dreadful but I really quite like it.
