This is our brewery’s Heart & Soul.
Created to have all the hoppy goodness of an IPA, but brewed to a sessionable strength. Its intense fruit-salad character comes from generous additions of US West Coast hops. A full bodied and fruity beer, with notes of passion fruit, grapefruit, gooseberry, pineapple & mango.

330ml can: BBD 11 May 17. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 26 Mar 17. Golden amber body, lasting white crown. Tropical fruits in both the nose and taste, easy drinking and flavoursome (if you like tropical fruit flavours).

Keg at the Crown, Belfast. Poured a hazy straw colour with a long-lasting frothy white head and bubbles that lasted forever. It was like a glass of champagne. The aroma is yeast, tropical fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light dry grapefruit citrus fruity hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

Can from Tesco, drunk at home. A darker gold in colour than I’d expected. Nice big and tightish white head. Big gooseberry and pineapple aroma with lemongrass. Taste is pleasantly bittersweet but nothing earth-shattering, but the finish regains the hoppy notes in full. Pineapple and biscuit aftertaste. Yum.

Unclear, golden colored, medium white frothy head, nice lacing. Aroma is of malt, grapefruity, tropical fruits, moderate+ aroma. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit caramel, tropical fruit, grapefruit, bit floral, medium aroma and bitterness, dry finish. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation, oily.

Boks 330ml kjøpt på Piccadilly Tap. Delt med Rune på tog mellom Birmingham & Plymouth 21 Sep 16. Lys gylden. Uklar. Middels høyt luftig skum med litt lacing. Lett & god fruktaroma. Smaken litt vassen. Syrlig frukt. Veldig tørr avslutning.

Can at home, 30th October 16. Pours a straw colour. Aroma is citrus, pine, some floral. Taste is citrus, pith, grapefruit, some pine, there is a good malt balance to this and great flavour for the extreme low ABV.

330ml can bought at Piccadilly Tap. Frothy, one-finger thick white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Near clear golden body. Inviting aroma of tropical fruits. Mixed fruit hoppy taste of orange and peach backed by juicy malts. Citrus peels to the finish. Refreshing and pleasant (shared with Finn on a southbound CrossCountry train from Birmingham to Plymouth, 21.09.2016).
