Keg at St Andrews Brewhouse, Norwich. Black with a moderate beige head and a light fizz. Intensely sour start, then a good hit of freshly squeezed orange juice comes through, before some plain chocolate and a light roastiness in the finish. Interesting; I like the orange sourness. It is possibly a little unbalanced and could perhaps use the malts showing through a bit more, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

Keg @ Pint Shop Birmingham. Pours dark, black, small off-white head. Aroma is rich, soy, roast, dark berries. Taste continues with a rich dark soy character, bitter roast, oak, some vegetal notes, light sour edge. Bit too harsh and rich.
Keg at Chelmsford beer festival

Keg at Casc, Aberdeen. It pours opaque black with triumphant light tan head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, bitter - sweet, chocolate cake, creamy, jammy berry, roasted malt and sachertorte. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, roasted malt, jammy berry, chocolate cake, almost vinous, good mouth - pucker, liquorice root, coffee grounds and berry skin with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Dark sours are a hard thing to do righ and get the balance, but this one has. Tasty stuff.
