Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 20th July 2025. Almost clear gold with dense, lasting whitish foam and scant lacing. Herbal, grassy aroma. Grassy hoppiness in-mouth with a savoury touch. A finish of grassy hops and nutty malts. Smooth mouthfeel and a light to medium body.

1/3 pint, cask at BeerHeadZ. Misty pale golden, low white head, clingy lacing. Restrained smell grapefruit and grain. Malt-fruity flavours, bread and citrus. Hints of fruity bitterness to the ending, mid-dry. Fine bodied. Pretty nice. (Grantham 13.11.2021).

Lys gylden. Nesten klar. Filmskum. Jordbæraroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken søte bær. Litt karamell i en lett bitter avslutning.

Cask at Alexandra, Derby Pours a classic yellow with a small white head. Citrus in the nose, which breaks down in the mouth to lemon, grapefruit and pineapple with malty biscuits underlying this. Finish is hoppy, peppery and lemony. Pleasant enough but undistinguished.

Handpull cask from the Salmon, Leicester. Golden, clear with a filmy white head. Aroma with sticky pineapple juice and grapefruit peel. The taste shows character far beyond a hoppy cask golden: bittersweet notes with honey biscuit overtones, with an incredibly drying and slightly peppery finish. Aftertaste a touch soapy... so a mark off for that, but a lovely beer nonetheless.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, pale gold. Messy, bubbly, lasting, white head. Nose has sweet, fresh Mosaic. Loads of blueberry in there. Some lime peel. Some pine needle and sap. Ripe citrus. Smells great. Taste is ripe, fleshy, citrusy sweet. Light pithy bitterness. Soft mouthfeel with a light twang. Fine carbonation. Most of the bitterness comes at the end, getting oily and resinous. If the sweetness was dialled in a bit this’d be a stunner. As it is it’s still a really good beer.

Tried at the strugglers inn, Lincoln. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma fruity tropical, and deep. Taste light sweet to a long bitter oily finish.
