500ml bottle from Aldi, Darlington. 3.4%. Reddish-pink colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of ribena, mixed berries. Taste is sweet berry, fruit cordial, sugary, syrup, jam, with a slight citric tartness. Medium bodied, high carbonation, sweet berry finish. Very sweet & artificial.

Slightly misted crimson red with a small pink head of low retention. Heavy sweet forest berry jam on nose. Distant apples. Less sweet taste of the same profile. Light sour. Very simple. Very commercial.

440ml can. Actually made in the UK, but whatever. Pours clear red with no head. Aroma is artificial raspberries, other berries. Taste is medium sweet, syrupy berries. Sweet and slightly sour finish. Light bodied. Weak stuff. I remember adding and rating one of these on ratebeer not long after joining — I was swiftly and somewhat curtly informed that it wasn’t real cider and had my rating deleted 😁

Easy drinking lots of redcurrants. Not bad macro cider.
