Antler & Talon, brewed in collaboration with Fuller’s brewing is the fourth in our Cellarman cask project series. We wanted to create something special and unorthodox for this collab which is what led us to using a mountain of ‘Green Hops’, which are whole cone fresh-hops used within 24 hours of picking from the harvest. We ‘oaked’ the beer using Wild Beer’s decommissioned bourbon barrels adding the staves in the mash tun. The result is a dry, crisp, cloudy and hoppy pale delivering a surprisingly good
body for a low abv beer!

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden with nice lacing. Nose - lemon and light sweet spice. Taste - dried pineapple and slightly overwhelming dry malt note. Maybe it's the wood note. Palate - light bodied and dry. Fairly long. Overall - a much more attractive nose than taste.

3.8% Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Clear gold amber colour lasting white head. Touch of biscuit and wild yeast on aroma. Definitely a wild yeast I would say more a farmhouse ale kinda saison. I pretty much liked it. Good hop on finish. Good green hop. Decent. Big harsh but OK.
