Note ; previous rating here by me was a mistake and was for the brown variant . now rating this one , so its not an updated rating, this is actual first rating . Pours warm blonde, orange glow. Good white head that lasts long . Smell is tad sweet , some grains . But mostly very gentle and soft ( balanced ) Taste is bitter , some slightly, almost metallic sharpness . Some balanced sweetness in the back . Perfect carbo . The previously mentionned sharpness, lasts into a funky-sweet-unique taste which I really dig . The drinkability in this one is extreme . Prob one of the 1 % tripels withoud a shitload of overcarbonation, ánd with a balanced taste that is sweet, yet not sugary . Its been a long time that ( if I have ever ) was this happy with a tripel ( that has not been hopped like an IPA or spiced like a white , etc ) . Basic, but very nice . Tripels never will go superhigh in my ratings, but this deserves a well-earned 100 % on style . I do not taste like 50 % of the ingredients in the description ( honey, sugar , oak ,.... ) but I guess that is because they are blended in in such a beautifull way , I guess . Very nice surprise !

Draft - Sweet stone fruit and candy sugar. Cloudy gold with a white head. Overripe stone fruit, bitterness and a sweet candy sugar, tropical fruit sweetness.

Hazy blond golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, malts, honey, quite herbal. Bitter flavour, hops, orange marmalade. Lingering bitter finish, honey. Rather decent brew.

Pours hazy orange with a big, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains malt, caramel, fruits, spices and yeast. It tastes medium fruity sweet and medium spicy bitter; dry, spicy, alcoholic finish. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. A typical "degustation" beer. (Edited 25/7/17)

Bottle from Quali Drinks, Mechelen, consumed at Camping De Molen, Antwerp, Belgium, Saturday 8th February 2014. Pours hazy warm gold with a smattering of bubbles. Sweet with a very smooth almost creamy vanilla flavour, soft in mouth late spiciness. Tasty beer. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4

33cl bottle @ home. Hazy orange / golden color, full sized white to off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell malts, a bit sweet. Taste malts, sweet, candy sugar, some herbs or spices. Medium carbo, medium body.

Bottle thx to benzai. Hazy orange colour with a decent white head. Smells sweet, thick, caramel, malts. Tastes way to sweet for me, some chocolate, malts, slightly bitter, wood. Thick mouthfeel, medium body, low to medium carbo.

Lightly hazy body. Lightly creamy, nice head with an excellent lace. Aroma of lemon, pomelo, hops and some caramel. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour.

Pours cloudy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

cloudy orange, smooth whie head,, very yeasty and sort of italian spicy aroma. thyme. flavor is wood, spices, wood, malts.
