The kiwi connections are strong at Braybrooke and this is a style of lager we all really enjoy. Bringing citrussy NZ hop aromas and flavours to Braybrooke’s Bavarian structure, the New Zealand Pils takes the Franconian malt and brewing process and adds NZ-grown Motueka hops. Motueka was originally known as the Saaz 2 hop and the resulting lager is a more aromatic and riper take on the classic Czech style - the very best old world / new world combo.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Hop Burns & Black. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, pure white head. Great stuff overall, clean and crisp, pleasant dry biscuits, straw, pale grains. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Quick finish, more dry biscuity character, nips of grass, hay. Solid stuff.
