We have collaborated with our great friends at Notes Coffee Roasters to bring you a Black IPA brewed with hand-selected Kavutiri coffee beans from Kenya. This beer is fruit forward with a well-balanced roast and bitterness. Pineapple and ripe white stone fruit from the Idaho 7 and Columbus hops are complemented by the notes of blackcurrant and praline from the coffee.

Bottle split at L6 tasting, thanks to Leighton, 21/03/19. Murky brown with a moderate beige covering that quickly fades to nyadda. Nose is dusty hops, bitter orange, light coffee bean, toasted malts. Taste comprises light charr, cocoa powder, coffee grinds, bitter citric shreds, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough CDA which is let down a touch by its looks!
