33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with very limited brown foam. Aroma is delicate of chocolate, coffee. Body is just slightly dense, with average carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with good bitterness, partly hops, partly burnt. Final is average.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Moor Vaults in Bermondsey. Pours black-brown with a frothy, tan head. Good toothy imperial stout, with moderate sweetness, quite a lot of scorched earth bitterness, hearty roast, some nips of raisin and baking cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Lightly warming finish, lingering ashy bitterness, dry chocolate. Nice beer. Doesn't hold your hand.

Keg at the Moor London Vaults. A dark brown black coloured pour with a whispy dark tan head. Aroma is cakey roast, liquorice, dried fruit, hint of raspberry. Flavour is composed of bitter roast, burnt cake ends, ashy roast, vanilla, bitter dried fruit. Very robust. Long lingering bitter roast. Palate is medium full bodied, light spicy, oily, mellow carbonation. Big.
