Sampled @ 27th Egham Beer Festival 2017. A clear deep amber beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of resinous bitter hops, raisins, strong reddish malt. Taste of strong bitter hops, resins, spruce, tannins, boozy. Too strong for me.

Bottle from Waitrose in Peterborough. A golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, orange, mango, caramel on the nose. Tastes more or less the same, hoppy, mango, orange, caramel, quite sweet. Decent enough DIPA but a little basic, would drink again though.

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Ade. Hazy deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Sweet sticky malts. Sweet marmalade. Pine. Ripe and bruised tropical fruits. Ripe tangerine and mild hop spice. Smooth semi dry finish. Quite a ripe and sweet DIPA but I liked it.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to MrTipple. Pours clear orange with a fine, creamy white head. The aroma holds rich line, ripe orange, melon, some mango. Medium to big sweet flavour with sugary malts, oily pine, jammy citrus. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, resinous, more bread, mango, melon, a bit of alcohol. Not bad.

Bottle split at Hackney Levels, thanks to a tipple, 08/06/17. Golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel malt forward, sweet notes, light canal side dung, faint pine, orange pith. Taste comprises sweet malts, caramel gloop, pine, grapefruit, cantaloupe melon, soft breads. Full bodied, fine carbonation, rising boost jus. Ok old skool DIPA ... great supermarche tom foolery/boost jus for the price point!
