33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours fully hazy, juice yellow, with fine white foam. Aroma is not strong, but fully tropical, consistent with the adding of pineapple. Body is somehow dense, with average carbonation. Taste is intensely bitter, with some underlying sweetness. Final is fairly long and bitter.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Sweet but thin malts, an almost candy sweetness. Sweet piney citrus. Piney floral pineapple, not that punchy or bright. Light finish. An odd affair and nothing to shout about.

17/I/20 - 33cl can @ DSV Nieuwjaarsdrink (Gent), BB: ink smudge (2020-57) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the can!

Pretty cloudy orange beer, big creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: vanilla, lactose, some mango, sweet canned pineapple, sugary impression. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: nice bitterness, piny, some dank hops, slightly malty. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, resinous, fruity, soft sweetness, dry tannins, nice one! I was a little afraid that this would have been a sweet lactose bomb, but it wasn’t.

On tap at The Alehouse - Palmhof, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out a mix of pineapple and chalky yeast upfront, with some dank hops further back. Flavour is thankfully more expressive on the pineapple, but also packs plenty of bitterness. Not much dankness, but with a rather chalky mouthfeel. Fruity and astringently bitter finish. It's alright.
