Bottle share with München Ratebeer tasting group at Jonas's house Garching. Monday 17th February 2020. Big white head, yellowy, hazy, for some reason I get a touch of 'Burton Snatch' on the nose?? sweetness, creamy, malty, soft mouthfeel, a little fruity caramel. Very good.

Bottle. Cloudy colden orange, offwhite foam. Nice banana, light candy and spice. Medium full chewy foamy mouthfeel. Lovely fruit, fresh, tart berry, foamy banana, vanilla, absolutely great fresh Weizenbock, probably the most crushable I ever had.

Bottle received in trade with Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris! Pours cloudy orange gold with a big frothy but quite short lasting off-white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, bread, banana, orange, honey, caramel and clove. Medium sweetness, very light bitterness and touch of sour. Medium body, slight sticky texture with above average carbonation. Fruity, caramel and slightly salty finish. Decent.

Bouteille: Hazy, deep golden to copper coloured, bigger slowly collapsing fluffy off-white head; spicy fruity-phenolic nose with a tinge of "fuel", toasted wheat-malt and yeast detectable; moderate to solid sourish-sweetish flavour, almost full bodied, quite soft; lingering wheaty-vinous finish, balanced by a tart and earthy fruitiness. Very unusual, very good...

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-amber colour with a big and firm, also quite lasting tanned foamy head. Bready and slightly toasted malty, moderately wheaty aroma with caramel, hints of vanilla and mildly fruity notes of banana, shades of peach, as well as phenolic spices in the background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft, almost creamy carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with present wheaty notes, caramel and fruity accents of banana, backed by phenolic and mildly herbal hoppy spice, the latter getting stronger towards the sweet-bitter finish with an almost muted but still warming alcoholic strength. 23.I.17

500ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy, largely lasting, off-white head. Wheaty, yeasty spicy and slightly fruity, leafy aroma, notes of nutmeg, clove, banana. Taste is moderately sweet wheaty, fruity, notes of banana, unripe & baked banana, honey, nutmeg, clove, some caramel; full body, viscous texture, creamy and slightly sticky palate. Very intense for a lower scaled (6.8%) Weizenbock.
