Bottle picked up a bottle shop in Alkmaar, consumed at De Drie Morgen, Zoetermeer, Netherlands, Sunday 2nd October 2016 Pours hazy amber with a filmy white head, like the other one HBC 291 this is also quite sweet. This is quite a spicy number, I like it, quite malty the hops linger on the tongue, they’re not too bitter, the sweetness keeps the bitter bite in check. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Lightly hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry. Decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, smooth and mildly creamy. Mellow orangey hops, mild hop spice. Traces of peel and lemon. Soft floral finish that generates modest bitterness. A mellow but tasty DIPA.
