Only domestic ingredients from controlled biological cultivation are used in this amber-colored, natural and traditional beer specialty from Salzburg. When brewing this beer we add Laufener Landweizen to the blend – a fine ancient grain we grow on healthy land and malt ourselves at the Stiegl-Farm Wildshut. This completes the velvelty mild taste – an absolute delight.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 28 July. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and touches of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced estery notes and touches of malt. Estery and slightly acidic aftertaste. Drinkable. But... is it as healthy as the name might imply?

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light grainy and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 280718

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. NIce head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops, bread and has a light bitter finish.

200 ml from tap at the brewpub. Unclear golden, medium head. Grain, some corn, slightly estery, some herbal notes, bread. Milky texture, medium bodied, süffig, soft carbonated. Nice Zwickel.

0.5l bottle from Billa, Wien. This one seems to be Paracelsus Bid-Zwickl with 5.2% alcohol. Hazy beer with small head. Aroma has malts and some citrus. Taste has malts, herbs and grass.

On tap at Huttenbar Chicago. Cloudy glowing orange appearance with a white head. It's doughy, very lightly spicy, a touch fruity, and mostly bready. A little on the sweet side. Not overly flavorful. Ok.

Draught @ Stieglkeller, Salzburg as "Stiegl-Paracelsus Bio-Zwickl." Aroma has strong grainy tones and malt. Foamy palate. Flavour has grainy malt, minerals, grassy hops with some menthol and mint. Bulkish.
